FRAMAZAZ FOUNDATION
The Framazaz Foundation was established in 2012 purposefully to target the less privileged in the society particularly children, women and families located in the remote and marginalized communities. The aim of this initiative was to alleviate the less privileged in the society and to ensure that they actualize their dreams and aspiration. It is heartwarming to state that this noble initiative was founded by Hajiya (Dr) Nana Aisha Gambo, to promote equality, and create a better future for the young generation.
The Foundation is committed to empowering individuals to become self-sufficient and contribute to their communities positively. In line with the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities through the provision of potable water, quality healthcare, basic education, and skills acquisition for sustainable livelihood.
Since its inception, Framazaz Foundation has impacted positively on lives of over 1,000 less privileged, orphans, widows and physically challenged children including young adults in several towns and villages across the country. These are being achieved through the Foundation’s various outreach and empowerment programs as well as projects, which include:
- Provision of clean water through installation of boreholes in rural areas across the 36 states of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory.
- Taking medical care to the door steps of the less privileged by conducting medical outreaches and distribution of eye glasses to the aged.
- Healthcare and Nutrition projects to enhance good and healthy living.
- Women empowerment through skills acquisition to be more productive and self-reliant by creating income-earning opportunities towards the attainment of sustainable livelihood.
- Donation of text books and educational materials to several schools in Abuja and Kano State.
- Distribution of wheelchairs to assist mobility of the less privileged across Nigeria.
- The Compassion Action Outreach and sewing machines distributed to skillful and less privileged across Nigeria among others.
Our Mission
To improve the lives of less privileged people by providing them with access to potable water, quality healthcare, education, and infrastructure so as to promote equality and social justice.
Our Vision
To create a society in which every individual has access to basic necessities such as clean drinking water, quality healthcare, education, and sustainable infrastructure as well as empower communities to thrive through education and economic opportunities, in order to build a better future for generations to come.
